26 Aug IMPORTANT NEWS: Existing Bands and NEW Bounceback Membership Offer
As promised we are honouring existing bands against bookings on our new booking system!! YEAY!
This is something very few businesses are doing with any forms of memberships due to the current COVID situation crippling businesses, but we promised we wouldn’t let our amazing Skinnypigs® family do without!
Skinnypigs® as a company didn’t receive the money for most of the bands that are currently in circulation, as when the bands were sold we were operating franchises in Sunderland, Newcastle and Gateshead. As a result the money was paid to the franchisees who are no longer operating those areas as they have chosen to leave, which was completely unexpected and we have no way of claiming this money back from them. However, as always our family comes first and we’ve always got your back!
We are honouring bands at a cost to ourselves in the form of class credits which can be redeemed against new membership purchases. Due to the above mentioned circumstances we are having to honour bands in a staggered fashion, we are sure you can appreciate what we are doing to help all our family out in these difficult times but we also need to do everything we can to ensure Skinnypigs® keeps running for many years to come! We couldn’t have you all going without your Skinnypigs® fix after all!
The details on how the band credit redemptions will work is detailed below, please note only 1 existing band (whether 10 session or unlimited) can be redeemed per person:
10 Session Bands
- Bring your existing band to class when you attend a pre-booked session – hand in to the trainer in a small bag e.g. sandwich bag with a piece of paper with your name, email address used on the booking system, phone number, the details of the instructor and class you are handing the band to and how many sessions remain on your band
- You will be provided discount codes via email to use on the booking system (discount codes will be calculated to provide a maximum of 3 classes free per 10 session membership purchased – if you have more than 3 sessions on your band they will be redeemed in multiples of 3 when purchasing a new band)
- Discount codes can be redeemed against new 10 session memberships only
Unlimited Bands
- Bring to class when you attend a booked session – hand in to the trainer in a small bag e.g. sandwich bag with a piece of paper with your name, email address used on the booking system, phone number, the details of the instructor and class you are handing the band to and the number of days remaining on your band (which will be calculated from the 18th of March to the band expiry date)
- You will be credited £1 for each day remaining on your band
- You will be provided discount codes via email to use on the booking system (discount codes will be calculated to provide a maximum of £5 per new 16 session membership purchase – you will have multiple voucher redemptions to reach your value of credit)
Any new band purchases have 6 months to be used up – so unlike many gyms you aren’t stuck paying a membership fee and then not being able to get a time slot that suits you and losing out on your hard earned money! And you also don’t get the epic Skinnypigs® results from a gym!
Bounceback 16 Session Membership Offer
As we are currently unable to offer unlimited memberships (and we know how many of you love a frequent fix that 10 sessions won’t cover!) to help you out and ensure we can continue to offer our amazing Skinnypigs® classes to you all we are offering as a bounceback offer for the next 2 months* 16 session memberships for £44.99 (which is £2.81 a session, and we are sure you won’t find this price anywhere else!). This would give you 4 sessions a week for 4 weeks which is what we have always recommended to get maximum results from the Skinnypigs® programme.
Don’t panic we will be reintroducing unlimited membership bands as soon as we can! We need time to get Skinnypigs® classes up and running again in this crazy, unprecedented time. If we receive epic demand on the 16 session memberships we may look to extend the offer or be able to bring back unlimited memberships sooner!
We are working incredibly hard (who needs sleep anyway!) to provide you the epic results creating, whacky classes you all know and love and we hope you all continue to support us as we have continued to support you through these testing times! A lot of businesses are struggling right now because of the dreaded COVID and we cannot tell you how much we appreciate the love and support you are all showing us! We have never just been ‘another fitness class’, we are a family, we stick together, support each other, motivate each other and look out for each other, it’s the ABSOLUTE BEST!
